Desert Sounds

Palm Shadow is the creative project of musician and artist Carlee Hendrix. She writes melancholic pop songs where introspective lyrics cut through pulsing synths, lush soundscapes, and noisy guitars. Her live performances are a visual extension of her sonic world, using analog video and walls of televisions to immerse the audience in a haze of color, texture, and cinematic ambience. For the first episode of Desert Sounds, she performed three new, unreleased songs, alongside a reimagined version of her song “You Wouldn’t Have It Any Other Way.”
